Divemaster Course
The Divemaster Course is the first professional level in the PADI system. It focuses on leadership, supervision of diving activities, and assisting with diver training. Divemasters also gain skills in dive planning, mapping, and conducting dive briefings.
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver certification, Rescue Diver certification, Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months, and a minimum of 40 logged dives to begin, 60 dives to complete the course.

PROFESSIONAL COURSES
Assistant Instructor Course
The Assistant Instructor Course is a step towards becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. It provides teaching experience under the supervision of a PADI Instructor and further develops dive theory, knowledge, and instructional skills.
Prerequisites: PADI Divemaster certification, Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months, and a minimum of 60 logged dives.
Duration: Generally conducted over several days.
PROFESSIONAL COURSES
Open Water Scuba Instructor
The Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course prepares candidates to teach PADI courses independently. It includes comprehensive training in teaching methods, dive theory, and practical applications. Successful completion leads to certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Prerequisites: PADI Assistant Instructor certification, Emergency First Response Instructor certification, proof of 100 logged dives, and a minimum of six months since qualifying as a Divemaster.

Specialty Instructor

Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification, certification in the specialty area, and documentation of experience in that specialty.

PROFESSIONAL COURSES
IDC Staff Instructor
IDC Staff Instructors assist with instructor-level training. They evaluate and provide feedback to instructor candidates during IDCs and help develop teaching abilities. It's a step towards becoming a PADI Master Instructor.
Prerequisites: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification, certified as a PADI Assistant Instructor or have completed an IDC/OWSI within the last 12 months.
